Roots
Roots was part of Ore's Huiying "We Were Farmers" Exhibition at The Objectifs Singapore in 2021.
We Were Farmers is the culmination of her 12-year personal project documenting their experiences and resilience,
and a commentary on changing agricultural practices and urban development in Singapore, through photography.
The film is a finalist at the Berlin International Art Film Festival, New Wave Short Film Festival
&Tokyo International Short Film Festival. Roots also received an honourable mention award at the
Toronto Indie Filmmakers Festival.
